Create Elegant Cards for Valentine’s Day

Valentines Day is only a little more than a month away! Still plenty of time to make some cards for your friends and family! I used the Hearts of Elegance stamps and dies, along with the adoring hearts embossing folder. This card can be used for just about anyone! The base card is 5 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches out of Cherry Cobbler cardstock. This time I took pictures as I made the card to give a better idea on how to make it. The products I used are below with links to my store. What do you think of it?

Score the 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 base at 2 1/8 on each end and fold
Emboss each side
after embossing
Both sides of gate will have embossed hearts
Cut 2 pieces 2 1/8″ x 2″ from the Marbled Elegance DSP and adhere to bottom
Cut hearts out of Gold foil, Flirty Flamingo, basic white, and Pretty In Pink
Stamp XOXO in Flirty Flamingo. Glue hearts together any way you want
Cut heart out of Basic White and stamp sentiment in Flirty Flamingo and adhere to inside
Wrap Pretty In Pink ribbon around card, adhere with stampin seal. Add hearts to one side of gate

    Great card Lynn! I love that you added the pictures of the process with directions. Valentines will be here before we know it. It would be cute to add a little heart over on the side of the the edge of the ribbon that doesn’t get covered when you open it up.
