I made this card for my boss, who is always happy to share all holidays with his employees. I did a little research into Hanukkah, so I could design this card. Hanukkah starts the evening of Christmas day and goes through the 2nd of January. Each evening a candle is lit on the Menorah. The stamp set I used is the Celebrate the Miracle stamp set from Stampin Up!
Base card is 5 1/2 inches x 4 1/4 inches (8 1/2 inches x 5 1/2 inches, scored at 4 1/4 inches) in Night of Navy.
First layer is 4 inches x 5 1/4 inches in the Gold foil sheets.
Second layer took a bit of time as I heat embossed the stars around the edge using the Metallics WOW embossing powder, gold size is 3 3/4 inches x 5 inches.
Third layer is Gold foil again that I cut out of the first layer piece using deckled rectangle dies (which are no longer available) but the perennial postage would work just as well.
The final top layer is 3 1/4 inches x 4 1/4 inches out of Night of Navy. I embossed the Menorah using Versamark and Metallics WOW! Embossing powder, gold.
